Mama June’ Jessica Shannon And Fiancé Suffer Devastating House Fire
MAMA June’s daughter Jessica Shannon and her fiancee Shyann have suffered a devastating house fire.
In a first look at the next all-new episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot, shared by Entertainment Tonight, a clip shows Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon calling her fiancée, Shyann.
The snippet from the episode sees Jessica sharing an update with Shyann on their recent house fire.
In the video, Jessica explained how she had got all of the animals out of the house and how she had them in her car with her as she drove.
She had one dog in the front of her car, and two cats in carriers on the back seats.
Her fiancee said she was so happy that the animals had gotten out.
Shyann then asked: “Do we still have a house?”
Jessica replied: “I mean, we still have a house for sure, but the whole yard is still smothered.”
Jessica added some scary news when she revealed to Shyann that the fire department suspected it might be arson.
Shyann said: “Who the hell would do that? I mean how are we even going to feel safe at the house again?”
She added: “I know that’s not the main focus right now, but what are we going to do for the bridal shower?”
Jessica replied: “That I don’t know. Like, that’s what I’m having to figure out. I don’t know what to do at this point.
“Like, we can sit down and talk about that later and figure it out.”
Shyann then replied: “Okay. I’m just glad everybody’s out safe.”
Fans rushed to the comments
One person penned: “I’m so sorry for all this is happening to you and your wife I’ll be praying for y’all in Jesus name.”
Another added: “Prayers for you all.”
“Being TV personalities, you would think their home would be covered in cameras inside and out,” said another.
While a fourth slammed the couple, saying: “House fire but worried about a bridal shower think I be worried about a home.”
Jessica and Shyann have been together for three years, with their romance playing out on the Mama June television series in its last season.
In the hit show, Jessica publicly came out and revealed her relationship to Shyann to her family – and viewers watching at home.
Speaking about how it felt to come out, Jessica told Entertainment Tonight at the time: “It feels good that people are supporting me and stuff.”
She went on to add: “It was good to know that Mama had my side because, for a while, Mama didn’t know [I was out].
“She found out through social media because we weren’t talking.
“It was kind of hard, but now everybody knows and everybody is real cool with it.”
Jessica is the second oldest daughter of Mama June Shannon.
She first shot to fame when she appeared on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo on TLC where her families life was documented.
Mama June is the matriarch of the Shannon family, and mom to Jessica, Lauryn, and Alana.
The famous mother also had another daughter, Anna, but she sadly died at the age of 29 in December 2023.
