Emmerdale has revealed what happens next between Dr Todd and Jacob Sugden.
Earlier this year, actress Caroline Harker returned to her role as Dr Todd, but ever since she has been making Jacob’s work a living hell after choosing to include him in her mentorship programme.
Dr Todd has been pushing junior doctor Jacob to his breaking point, and on Sunday night Jacob decided to put a stop to the bullying once and for all.
After attempting to talk to Dr Todd, suggesting he might be better moving departments or to a new leadership, Dr Todd gaslit him into staying.
However, as the episode ended, it was revealed that Jacob had decided to raise a formal complaint with Dr Todd’s employers as he went to HR, explaining that she had been bullying him and it was having a detrimental impact on his well being.

In spoilers for later this week, Jacob doesn’t want to worry wife Sarah Sugden by telling her about his meeting with HR so keeps it quiet.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Jacob’s colleague Rich can’t believe he has complained to HR, warning that this could ruin his career.
Later, Dr Todd spots Jacob entering a room with the HR rep to which her face darkens as she realises she might be caught out.
Following the meeting, Dr Todd tries to corner Jacob and ask why he’s met with HR. Having enough of her threatening behaviour, Jacob finally stands up to her in person. Will this backfire or will Dr Todd finally face her downfall?
It comes as Dr Todd star Caroline said earlier this year of her storyline: “I’m delighted to be back at Emmerdale for a longer stint playing Doctor Todd. She’s a complex character and from what I’ve been told so far, quite a tricky one for Jacob to navigate.

“Workplace bullying is commonplace, and it will be interesting to see it brought to our screens in a serial drama such as Emmerdale.”
Meanwhile, Emmerdale Producer, Laura Shaw, added: “We are looking forward to seeing the machinations of someone like Caitlin Todd, and it’s not just at the hospital where she will start to make an impression.
“Caroline is a fabulous actor and brings such great experience to this role – we can’t wait for her to play out what we have planned for the character.”
Emmerdale airs weekday nights at 8pm on ITV1 and STV as part of ITV’s new ‘soap power hour’ scheduling pattern for Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
