A Historic “Twist” and a Provocative Prize
From the start, host Jeff Probst dropped a bombshell on the contestants: For the first time in Survivor history, the show was divided into 3 groups, with 3 people winning the Infection Round and all 3 groups facing the Tribal Council. A number of eagle-eyed observers noticed that 40-year-old mechanical engineer Christian appeared to have cheated by secretly using his right shoulder to lean against the wall while moving down. Surprisingly, Jeff Probst completely ignored this and did not disqualify him.
