According to the Bringing Up Bates star, adoption is definitely on the table for the kids, but they will always prioritize what their real parents decide when the time comes. At this point, Michaela and Brandon are focusing more on giving the kids a safe and loving home. Michaela admitted that saying “goodbye” is going to be the hardest thing they will ever do in life, but she prays that the love she and Brandon are giving them will be something they will carry for the rest of their lives.

Michaela Opens Up About Fostering More Kids

Michaela recently uploaded a new YouTube Q&A video in which she answered a question about possibly fostering more kids. The Bringing Up Bates star said that they love kids so much, and their answer is a “very easy” yes. However, Michaela said that fostering is something that people can’t just say yes to. She explained that every child in foster care has different needs and requirements. They all have different upbringings, and some of them may require medical attention.

Brandon added that their current two foster children already require a lot of attention, adding that they’ve driven miles back and forth to doctors’ appointments. The two were thankful that the kids were good travelers. Michaela went on to say that they want to pour all the love and time that they have now for their two foster kids, but they will always be open to fostering and adopting at some point.
