‘Big Brother’ Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin Arrested Again, Shocking Details

Mike “Boogie” Malin of Big Brother fame was recently arrested over accusations of shoplifting in Los Angeles. A store employee and local authorities also shared information on the story. Notably, this isn’t the only story concerning the reality star’s legal troubles.
Mike Malin Was Arrested Following An Incident At A California CVS Pharmacy
Malin appeared on multiple seasons of Big Brother over the years. He first appeared in the second season.
Notably, Malin returned for Big Brother 7 and wound up being the season’s winner. Following this, he would return for the fourteenth season.

Talking to TMZ, Malin was arrested on January 29 following officers being dispatched to various CVS Pharmacies. The alleged incidents were said to have taken place in the San Fernando Valley region.
According to law enforcement sources, an employee from one CVS told officers that he confronted Malin outside the store. Malin was reportedly told he needed to pay for items he took out of the store.
Malin Has Faced Various Legal Troubles In Recent Years
The Big Brother alum was said to have gone back inside the store, placed the items on the floor, and then departed in his vehicle. According to authorities, shoplifting suspects usually target multiple stores when committing thefts, usually of the same brand.
Sending a unit to another CVS, they managed to find Malin’s vehicle. With the vehicle still running, Malin walked up to authorities and was then detained.
A witness at the second CVS claimed that Malin took two bottles of alcohol and energy drinks from the store. The cops also claimed a CVS employee signed off on a citizen’s arrest form concerning the alleged incident.
Malin was taken to jail. While there, he had been booked for misdemeanor theft. However, he was later released on a citation.
Malin has had other legal issues over the years. As noted by Us Weekly, reports came out in 2020 that Malin had been arrested over charges of drug possession and driving while under the influence.
A few years later, TMZ reported that a warrant was issued on Malin after he failed to appear for a court hearing, which had been connected to a felony stalking case. At the time, it was noted that Malin pled no contest to felony stalking the year beforehand concerning his former Big Brother friend Dr. Will Kirby.
Beforehand, he had been sentenced to two years probation and was ordered to pay over $44k to Kirby. At the time, Malin’s public defender claimed he did not have the funds to pay the money owed to Kirby.
