‘Bringing Up Bates‘: Katie Bates Gets Help From Some Siblings Ahead Of Relocation
Katie recently shared a clip on IG announcing that they’re on their final steps of packing. After a few days of dilemma, the Bringing Up Bates star revealed that they decided to get a 20-foot U-Haul instead of the 26-footer. Katie got emotional, thanking her followers for being part of her relocation journey. She then shared glimpses of her siblings, Carlin and Zach, stopping by to help her clean up and pack. This led to many fans believing that Carlin and Zach are part of the ten percent. Josie has also shown constant support for Katie in many of her moving posts, while her mother, Kelly Jo, remains discreet amid her decision to leave Tennessee.

Bates Sisters Reunite Before Katie Moves Away
Some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media react to Katie’s latest IG Stories, featuring photos of Carlin and Josie throwing a party in her Tennessee home before she leaves. Carlin and Josie both expressed how much they’ll miss their sister once she leaves. Katie remains silent about where they will move. But Ellie previously left a comment about Texas in one of Katie’s moving posts, suggesting that they’re relocating there. Many fans also believe that Carlin and Josie throwing a goodbye party for Katie confirms that they’re part of the ten percent who are still in touch with her. Several people are still concerned about Katie’s decision to leave Tennessee. But others commend her for taking such a big leap in her healing journey.

- “I think it’s safe to say who is still involved in her life.”
- “She is still close with Zach and Whitney as well. Whitney left a supportive comment on her moving post and Katie responded with “thanks whit! 💕” (she did not do that for every family member who commented, she ignored many of them.) Zach was also apparently helping her move.”
- “Unpopular opinion- this may go great. From my own experience, being away from your core group of family and friends can help distill what you want. And kids keep you keeping on. It could also be a disaster of course.”
- “It is surprising given how much she struggled in the beginning of her marriage being away from her family. It also sort of came out of nowhere. But she also seems to have gone through a LOT so that could have spurred her decision.”
Do you think Katie made the right call to leave Tennessee?
