2026 has been a rough year for Katie. Not only did her husband confess to cheating, but she also suffered from a miscarriage. Many Bringing Up Bates fans thought Katie and Travis would separate for good. But the two decided to work on their marriage for the sake of the kids. Katie previously stated that her trust was completely broken, and it would be difficult for Travis to repair it. But many of their posts today indicate that they’re making good progress in their healing journey. Earlier this month, Katie shared a lengthy message, talking about how she wished some parts of this year looked different. She wrote, “I wish some parts of this year had looked different. I would change certain things in a heartbeat if I could but since I can’t, I don’t want to waste them.”

Katie’s New Home Location Revealed

Some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media discussed Katie’s latest IG post. It features their long road trip to their new home. According to Katie, they’ll be on the road for 15 hours, and she’ll resupply for the long trip. This led to many fans believing that Katie and her family would move to Texas, which is a 14-hour drive from Tennessee.

In addition to that, a discussion thread suggests that Katie’s trip to visit her friend there not so long ago wasn’t random. The poster added that Ellie once commented on Katie’s moving post, saying, “Can’t wait to visit y’all in TX!” which was later deleted.
