According to the Bringing Up Bates star, her boys are doing well, adding that it was fun watching them grow. Michaela then shared that the oldest boy is starting to read more, while the baby boy is starting to stand by himself. Michaela then talked about the possibility of adopting the kids.

She stated that adopting the boys will always be on the table for them, but they want to prioritize their healing journey, knowing how far they’ve come from their past lives. What matters the most for Michaela and Brandon is giving the boys a loving home while their parents try to get the help they need. Michaela can’t help but worry about the chances of saying goodbye to the kids. But she’s hopeful that the boys will remember them if ever they’re going back to their original parents.

Michaela Shares Huge Message Amid Foster Mom Life

In an IG Stories post, Michaela shared a lengthy message for her mother, Kelly Jo. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she may be a date late for Mother’s Day, but she can’t let the day pass without thanking her mother for all the things she has done for her. Michaela expressed her gratitude for Kelly Jo’s love, strength, generosity, and constant support while she navigates her life as a foster mom. Michaela added, “You give so much of yourself to everyone around you. I love you, Mom!”

Michaela also shared photos from the first birthday of her foster baby earlier this month. While she didn’t share the boy’s face, many of her photos indicate that members of the Bates family came over to celebrate. Many fans also sent Michaela strong messages amid her foster life.
