💔 Tearful Goodbye! Christine Brown Breaks Down Filming Her Final ‘Sister Wives’ Episode — “This Chapter Is Over…”

Date: (Insert date) — In a raw and emotional moment, Christine Brown said goodbye to Sister Wives in what she described as her final filming day in Flagstaff, Arizona. Breaking down in tears, the long-time star of the TLC reality show captured a deeply personal farewell — both to the show’s set and to a life chapter now behind her.
A Bittersweet End in Flagstaff
Christine shared a behind-the-scenes look at her last day on set through a TikTok video, showing the familiar couch and studio where she had recorded interviews for years. Although the space appears like a cozy living room on-screen, it’s actually a converted garage. Speaking to the camera, she said:
“This is the couch I’ve sat on for years talking about the show and sharing my feelings. This is the last time, and it’s a little bittersweet.”
She added that she had been commuting from Utah to Flagstaff every other week for a year — an 8-hour drive each way — and expressed relief that she no longer had to make that trip.
“So glad to finally settle in Utah!”
The move not only marked a physical shift but also a symbolic one — closing the door on the Flagstaff chapter of her life and turning fully toward a new start.
An Emotional Goodbye to the Family
While the TikTok focused on the studio, the show captured a much more painful goodbye — one between Christine and her ex-husband Kody Brown, as well as his remaining wife Robyn and their children.
Organized by Christine’s daughter Mykelti, the farewell gathering was filled with tension. Christine, Janelle, and their kids stood on one side of the yard; Kody, Robyn, and their children on the other. Christine later said:
“It’s very apparent how awkward we all are.”
“That was the hardest part — that the kids were angry too.”
“I think this was the worst goodbye I’ve ever witnessed.”
Kody, in a separate interview, confessed he didn’t want to return to that place, saying he didn’t want to drive past Christine’s old house and “mourn this.” It was clear both parties were overwhelmed with sadness and unresolved feelings.
Christine did her best to remain composed, thanking her family for showing up, but admitting how deeply emotional the moment was. She later said:
“I’m trying to keep it together, but this really hurts more than I expected.”
A Goodbye — But Not the End?
While Christine’s comments and video made it seem like she was leaving the show for good, she later clarified that she was simply done filming in Flagstaff — not Sister Wives altogether. Instead, she plans to continue filming from her new home in Utah, where a new filming setup has already been built.
Even so, the tearful farewell in Flagstaff marked the end of an era for Christine. It was a goodbye to more than just a set — it was a farewell to years of emotional ups and downs, to a spiritual marriage that had ended, and to a version of herself that no longer exists.
Closing a Chapter, Opening Another
Christine’s departure from Flagstaff and her evolving role in Sister Wives reflects her personal transformation. She’s spoken openly about finding happiness, rediscovering her independence, and building a new life with her fiancé David Woolley — a stark contrast to the struggles she faced in her marriage with Kody.
As she said herself:
“This chapter is over… and I’m ready for what’s next.”
